There has been a lot of discussion recently regarding banning guidelines and ban appeals. After reviewing your feedback, some revisions were made to our existing ban policies. We believe that the changes made will encourage positive behavior and help deter further problems from hackers, botters, and other abusers. We are aiming to improve the Mapling experience for all of our legitimate players.
Some key points of the revisions include:
The entire duration of a temporary ban must be served if the account in question is found guilty.
Permanent bans will be just that. Permanent.
Characters will be removed from the Official Website Ranking on their first offense for hacking/botting.
A close eye will be kept on our banning processes and some tweaking may happen over time to improve their consistency and accuracy.
