I'm Michael deVenecia, the new Community Manager for MapleStory. MapleStory just happens to have been my gateway into online gaming, and I'm excited to be a part of the team. I come from a fairly diverse and competitive professional background with roots in coaching/teaching martial arts, sales, and a ton of customer service experience. My passion for gaming eventually landed me here. I've been close friends with Artasi for quite some time, and he's helped guide me through this transition, and provided me with a ton of advice.
Outside of work I'm a fairly active musician, live-streamer, and martial artist. I LOVE to eat(and spend a lot of time taking pictures of my food). Some of my favorite dishes include Phad See Ew(Thai Stir Fried Noodles, Ddeokbokki(Spicy Rice Cakes), and Soondubu(Soft Tofu Stew). I'm a HUGE E-Sports fanatic and am looking forward to the upcoming season.
If you've got any questions related to MapleStory, the video game industry(I'm new to all this so don't expect much), or just want to get to know me in general feel free to ask! I'll try to answer everything I can, but be mindful as I am under NDA.
