They said they'd investigate every account that benefitted from this bug, but I guess there are too many and they just can't be bothered to read the logs. So they mete out this action which is too lenient for heavy abusers, and too harsh for those who only did it once and never touched the cubes or meso (assuming at least some of those who claim they did are not lying).
