Personally I don't think multiple-item selling is actually too much work, provided the game wasn't coded in a terribly stupid way. An analogy is the loot system - manual looting is a single-packet process, whereas pet looting is like a multi-queued packet process. The selling system can simply have tick boxes of sorts, click sell-all, and it will queue the entire selling system.
A better analogy is the collect-all function on Monster Life, although selling is closer to looting because you cannot queue other packets with selling and looting, whereas for collecting Warus on Monster Life you can multi-queue collections.
