We all have to keep in mind that management has a lot of ways to manipulate the numbers to produce substantial "profit" even when the company isn't doing well. The classic example would be laying off a bunch of workers in Q2 to make Q3 profits higher. This would likely hurt eventual Q4 and onward profits, but revolving door employment and other tactics can mitigate that as well. It's really difficult for us to judge objectively since all we can do is look at user numbers and our personal spending.
