I really hope they got more details after you left, when the event came closer.
Otherwise, it's downright stupid.
The exact dates are the least useful bit of data to reveal to the councilors. They're unlikely to have any meaningful input about whether that's a good or bad time to do it.
The other stuff, on the other hand, could use "expert player" scrutiny: the restrictions, the data items that will and won't get moved, etc. That's where the MLC can point out anything that was overlooked by the Nexon team. If they were never informed, that's Nexon wasting a valuable resource.
Then again, it wouldn't be the first time.

I knew nothing about world transfer when I was in MLC. I'll just remind you that this happened (assuming it was resolved is incorrect). All they knew was the date, and the wrong one for a while.
