Shadow's basically restricts you to the following skills
Generator
Impale
Vault
Shadow Power
Fan of Knives
Generator really means Bolas since Grenades suck so bad. They'd need a decent supporting legendary if they want to be competitive... This leaves a single slot open for any variance, unless you just don't run Fan of Knives. The FoK dagger sounds really good though, and it's just easier if you don't have a second spender competing with Impale. It's really limited in this case, and it's much more likely a single optimal option exists if all you choose is one more skill.
That being said, I'm looking forward to trying it out. I want to see if Chains of Torment are any good. On paper, it sounds amazing. Scatter might be a good choice for AoE too instead of FoK, but they really took down the potential for every other rune. inb4 Spike Traps gains the Scatter rune legendary. I think just Bolas + Emimei + Leonine on Cube will be better than Chakram + Seething Spines of Hatred, though there's other great weapon options in the cube like Fulminator for dat sexy AOE.
