This is what I'm looking to buy

CPU cooler
Was originally thinking this Gfx card but I wouldn't be able to utilize all of that memory so I think I would be better off getting Gfx card or maybe upgrading to Gfx card.
Thinking about getting either a 16 GB kit RAM or save some money down the road by getting the 32 GB kit RAM.
Was originally thinking HDD for OS, HDD for Games, and HDD for storage but then I thought about getting 4 of these HDD and using RAID 1 + 0.
Also might need some thermal paste. AS5?

I think that's everything I "need" to get started.

How do you intend to use this new part or new computer? What's the heaviest load it's likely to encounter?
I'll likely never be able to utilise this to it's fullest potential but I've currently deluded myself into thinking that if I go with these parts I won't have to upgrade for say 5+ years.

 Changes/thoughts

I went with a 128GB 840 Pro for OS, a 500GB 840 EVO for games, and a 500GB VelociRaptor for Virtual Machines, Downloads Folder, some other things idk.
At the time I thought was a good idea... but SSDs have come a long way and I should've probably just gotten a 1TB SSD because it will probably outlive the rest of my components.

Got the 32GB kit (4x8GB) because at the time I thought being able to buy another kit and go up to 64GB would be a nice option but really I should've gotten the 8x4GB kit instead.
I have no idea how I thought being able to go up to 64GB of RAM would be a good idea and even running a few VMs I doubt I will be using all 32GB.

Because of how long I took getting the parts I got the factory overclocked GIGABYTE GTX 970 which costs about the same as the 770 and draws so much less power so now I have too much power.

I don't like/want to like 8.x but I got it, mainly for Hyper-V, and well that's that.

Finally got all the parts purchased and the computer didn't explode when I put powered it on the first time so all I need now is monitors.
Setting my thoughts on monitors aside I would like to hear more about what's "good" right now and get some opinions/suggestions.

Thoughts:
To be honest I'm not really picky and I could probably use 2 Dell P2314Hs like I do at work.
The Samsung S27D590P we bought for a customer is bright and looked nicer imo than the Dell P2314H but if I'm getting a 27 inch monitor it I think it should be 2560 x 1440 instead of 1920 x 1080.
I like the thin bezels on Dell's U2414H and U2715H but at their prices I think I could get something "better".
