Pretty sure all they'd need to do is reset everyone's codex set. I think picking a new set will get rid of the bonuses. I can't test it though because they told me not to change my set.
EDIT: Just logged on. My codex no longer has those stats.
Are you saying there are other people that still have the stats?
I posted that while the game is down, I thought they'd mention it in the notes for the check.
