Hope some of the items are perm.

Transparent equips expire in 5 days.
Beefy's food weapon covers expire in 60 days.
Pets expire in 30 days, can be revived.
lolBits expire in 60 days.
Consumable Cash items expire in 1 or 5 days if not used, depending on item.
Pet skills are permanent once applied, but the coupon itself expires in 7 days if you don't use it.

Costs about 10m to initially set up your kitchen.
At that point you can craft some items, provided you have coins to buy the ingredients.
To craft more advanced items, you need to upgrade your kitchen, bit by bit. I think that's all done by quests, though there might also be a meso fee. I'm still stuck on the first quest (kill 3 Elite Bosses), but I hear killing Hard Hilla is also required at some point...

Upgrade quests are the following (as far as my friend's gotten, I'm on Normal Zak and can do that tomorrow):

- Kill 3 Elite Bosses (Note: you only have to be in the same map when it dies, so you can just camp at ch1 drakes or something if you don't want to spawn them yourself. But you will need the coins eventually.)
- Kill 3 Elite Bosses
- Kill 555 mobs around your level
- Pay 100 Beefy Coins
- Pay 100 Beefy Coins
- Pay 100 Beefy Coins
- Kill Normal Zakum
- Kill Easy Horntail
- Kill Normal Hilla
*Lv2 complete*

- Kill 5 Elite Bosses
- Kill 5 Elite Bosses
- Kill 999 mobs around your level
- Pay 300 Beefy Coins and 3,000,000 mesos
- Pay 300 Beefy Coins and 3,000,000 mesos
- Pay 300 Beefy Coins and 3,000,000 mesos
- Kill Chaos Zakum (I'm assuming, since it's following the pattern of the previous level)
- Kill Chaos Horntail
- Kill Hard Hilla
