In the end the SR "nerf" ended up as a buff for me at least, I'd spam that skill at magnus for years without thinking and due to the long delay I'd get rock'd, now it's actually easier and I don't get rock'd, I just need to time it (Basically use it every 5 seconds hehe), and in the end it's actually a better experience.
The blessing of darkness buff is truly amazing, It saves me at empress so much now, I am still not sure about the interaction that Luminous has with her genesis but I've noticed that whenever I have 3 orbs (WHICH IS ALL THE TIME NOW AND THAT'S WHAT MAKES THIS SO AMAZING) it doesn't kill me (I end up having around 431 hp) and it just pops one orb away.
Also tanking DR is just a joke now, The orb(s) help so much, I always knew it does but it was fairly situational, now it's very consistent and I'd have to say it's a godmode and I am enjoying every second of it.
[I never really went to Empress but in the 3 times I did post-unlimited, it wasn't like this for sure]
And yeah the QoL change is actually very nice, I don't mind buffing anymore at all, I've also recently gotten 32% buff duration which makes this even better.
Just note that orbs help you tank DR depending on the DR damage (can be checked on extractions). They still tend to be ridiculously large, but at sufficiently high levels you should have enough HP to barely survive.
Now all we need is reduced cast delays for our skills. I don't mind less damage as a trade-off.
