Seriously. This is basically an insult to Metroid fans. They have known since at least last E3 that we really, really, really, really want a new Metroid game, and they kick us in the pineappleing balls with this nonsense. In a time where Nintendo needs to get its pomegranate together and pull out some games worth buying, this is really just a huge mistake.
I also heard from some fellow team members on Dragon Quest X that Square Enix really glossed over Dragon Quest again this year something fierce. They mentioned Dragon Quest Heroes for about 5 seconds, showed a tiny trailer, and then moved on as if it didn't exist. This is after they claimed that they see a bright future for Dragon Quest in the West. How, when you don't put any focus what so ever on the franchise? I'm happy I'm starting to learn how to play the games in Japanese, because I really don't see many future English releases of the franchise at this rate, I really don't.
