Exactly my scenario as well. I sent in a ticket after every maintenance, when they were attempting to bring over more Alpha characters. Eventually they responded and it got to the point where they asked me for my new email login and the name and classes of every Alpha character I had. After they acknowledged that ticket I was left in the dark for the rest of days and never heard back.
There was someone on Reddit who actually did get a response and they basically told him "We found your characters, but we can't do anything about it. Sucks for you."
