Every time they "buff" Aran they increase the swing's casting speed, and the job gets less and less popular, it should be pineappleing obvious by now. What Aran trully needs is an advantage from building up combos, one that feels freaking fun, aswell as advantages from using all other attacking skills in his arsenal. Building x000 combos and then sitting on your ass to spam tempest is THE MOST BORING THING EVER.
Back in the day I created Aran for Combo Fefnir alone, and even in 2 job there's never been a need to use it, in fact it slows you down.
