So, this game finally decided to take a day off from being an absolute dickwad. To upgrade my Zamtrios dual blades to their final form, I needed 6 Brute Tigrex hardfangs and a Tigrex mantle. Well, since I hadn't ever really done a G-rank Molten Tigrex, I decided to grind those since they dropped mantles. In 14 quests, I got two mantles, three dire blasthearts, and enough stuff to make both the gunner and blademaster Excello armor sets.
Now I just need to figure out which of his weapons are worthy of these blasthearts. The gunlance is a wide-5 shot with 300 blast, 20% affinity, and two slots, so that is definitely a possibility. I've also got my eye on his dual blades. They've got 10% affinity, 420 attack, and 180 blast.
