Turns out my account's not in good standing now, ever since that ban fiasco.

Definitely sending in a ticket or emailing customer support would be in your best interest. I was slapped with a false perma myself (for advertisment albeit) but I was still able to get the box. I agree that you probably just fell through the cracks, and hopefully you can get that sorted out :/
