To me it's not really about "not minding it", it's the fact that they are treating us like children that bothers me. Half the time in games that remove fatigue systems I play the same amount of time or sometimes less per day than I did before, but I enjoy it more and play every day/for a longer period before quitting simply because the conception of the restriction is no longer there. The difference is, I play the same amount or less on most days, but when I feel like playing for 15-20 hours straight when the need strikes me, I can do it without being told I can't or being severely penalized for playing a video game.
