Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion
Thugnificent Wrote:So I finally get Smash for wii u and I have to say classic can be pretty punishing. I've yet to beat it past 8.0 on the scale, mostly due to the fact that the "tabuu-esque" encounter is pretty frustrating for me. Ike just cant handle being pummeled around and randomly sent flying deep into a corner, even when he has that custom angled aether(which sometimes causes a lot of SDs). Also, I went online to have a few 1v1 matches and at first I ended up getting stomped by this insanely fast ZSS that I could barely hit. I only ko'ed them once out the 3 matches...no excuses I had my ass handed to me ahaha. I just wish that Ike's fastest air move wasn't so tricky to land.

Overall, still just as fun as the past games. I just kind of miss adventure or subspace, but at least the online features work well.

If you're new, then yeah. That's gonna happen, no matter what. Give it some time. Once you do take that time, you do tend to learn. For instance, I personally had trouble against Master Core, since I'm a 100% completionist retard, but... Since there so existed the imfamous 'Clear class on 9.0 intensity without losing a single life' achievement which you cannot hammer, I just decided to learn. And the only way to learn is to try, try, and try some more. Sure enough, I got it. Eventually, but still :]
