It should be the same since CDR affects recharge times. The bigger issue would be not being able to pull groups to have Merciless Assault reset it every cast.
Looking at the datamined changes, the only change that's actually noted for Marauder is removing the 100% extra damage from Sentry spenders. They don't mention a change to how much damage each Sentry provides, but they had stated previously that the damage/sentry bonus would only apply to your character and not your Sentries anymore. Since they didn't rescale the damage/sentry bonus, it's either an even worse nerf than anticipated, or they'll still scale for Sentries which is more in the range of acceptable.

Updated patch notes. They don't mention anything about Marauder, but the stats are now

So either the blue quote was wrong when they stated this bonus won't apply to Sentries, they changed their minds, or it's a bug because the 6pc definitely adds its bonus to Sentry spenders. For now, the max damage output is actually better than last PTR. The differences are:
1) The old M2 bonus applied to every skill for some reason, not just the spenders Sentries could use (i.e. Strafe, Rapid Fire, etc) making those skills *gasp* viable.
2) The old bonus added some damage at M2, and it was fairly significant self-damage for those who didn't have M6 or wanted to do other things (this was probably moved to M6 because you could M2 + Nat's or the new Multishot set)
3) You gain more damage per Sentry, but the Sentry itself lost its double damage per spender buff. This means the Sentries themselves are slightly weaker when you don't have 5 out, but your own damage is higher because you never got the double damage spender buff the Sentries had. This in particular helps non-Bombardier builds if your own hits are connecting.

X * 2.2 * (1 + 3 * 2) = 15.4X
Now
X * 4 * (1 + 3) = 16X
Otherwise, if you were the type that shoots into walls:
Previously
X * 2.2 * 3 * 2 = 13.2X
Now
X * 4 * 3 = 12X
With all 5 Sentries
Previously:
X * 3 * (1 + 5 * 2) = 33X
Now:
X * 6 * (1 + 5) = 36X
Overall, it's a 1.09x buff compared to last PTR. However, if this is a bug and they adjust it so only your own damage sees the benefit of M6, the damage that you should be doing now is
X * (1 * 6 + 5) = 11X
A 0.333x nerf compared to PTR iteration 1.
