A few things I've noticed:
- Reverse/Timeless gear is still Smithable. Abyss/Fearless as well if you had the recipes learned beforehand.
- PB still drops Reverse gear.
- Medals of Honor are automatically consumed on pickup.
- Bosses only drop a single Medal now, and it gives the same amount as a regular one.
- My Codex set got "unequipped", so I had to redo that.
- Speaking of the Codex, mine seems to have gained multiples of everything, it says I have 9381/256 cards collected and 60/72 sets completed.
(I had every card collected including the old Silent Crusade stuff, and every set completed before the patch.)
- Regular EEs have the same description as AEEs now, but the normal boom rate.
- You cannot use souls on an unequipped item anymore.
- The Necro Kitten Scepter and Necromancer's Fan is part of the Necro Warrior set for some reason.
- Fans and Katanas still can't be extracted.
