Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion

I simply cannot get even close to beating the last event for 2 players (On Hard).

And that event with Palutena and Ganondorf vs the giant metal G&Ws. My god. I've only managed to beat one and that was by pure luck.

I'm assuming the event is the same for solo mode. Any tips?
