Still will be used for what they are used for now: tyrants. Star force will be better for capes, since replacing capes is ezpz, the price for them shouldn't rise THAT much to make guardians worth it.
For gloves, boots, and belt, no booms are still very much worth it, since replacing them is quite hard.
