That is nice. Even nicer for those of us in non-American timezones, who should have their 2x with even less lag than usual.
However, the first Miracle Time starts at midnight, which is exactly when the cubes go on sale.
Cash Shop is going to laaaaag baaaaad as everyone rushes to get cheap cubes ASAP to not lose cubing time.
On the other hand I suppose Cash Shop is always busy during Miracle Time, as people run out of cubes and get tempted to buy more. So maybe after the first 10 minutes or so it won't be worse than usual.
