I'm assuming that they'd just be releasing content out of order.
The video of them logging into the Dev. Server shows that the starting point is Silver Crown; a season 4 town. Season 4 was introduced about 13 months after Dark Knight and Creator were released in DnF. I don't think there's any need to worry; it makes sense that two of the least popular characters in all localizations of Dungeon Fighter would be delayed in the development cycle of DFOG.
