It's silly that in a game where every new reveal is hyped and every new discovery is exciting that they would reveal everything beforehand.
If we hadn't have had them revealed, people would have eventually been disappointed when all of them are discovered, of course they would be. It was disappointing when X and Y was leaking and Noibat was the final new pokemon discovered. But the excitement of discovering pokemon like Pumpkaboo, Goomy, Bergmite ect or mega evos like Mega Pinsir and such was more than enough hype to make up for that.
Considering that one of the major selling points of this game is the new mega evolutions, yeah, it's super disappointing. Especially when new stuff is supposed to be a draw to make us buy a game that we have essentially bought and played before.
I don't know. In my -personal opinion-, I feel 'exploring the game' is sort of redundant, because the remake is exactly that- a remake. Playing the game completely remade in 3D isn't enough of a draw? And what of this new Delta Episode we just heard of? What is it that it entails, exactly. And who knows? Unless you have the game for yourself, you can't in all confidence say that are new megas, and that's all.
In all honesty, maybe the could have shown us a few new megas, and let the rest be up to the players. I'm still pretty happy with mega Gallade and Altaria myself; knowing about them ahead of time has only made me want them more. But I know everyone is different. Maybe people would have liked to hold onto that hope, even if it would ultimately be ill-founded. (And I'm not trying to be facetious- this even happens to me sometimes)
But anyone can feel how they want, I guess. Seeing people getting discouraged and sour over a game they haven't even played themselves yet is sort of offsetting on a subjective level.
