Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire announced

I still haven't decided on which one to get :x

Does anyone know if the version exclusives are the same as they were the last time these games were released? That's the one thing I've been waiting on before deciding...
A friend of mine is getting Omega Ruby and said I should get Alpha Sapphire so we can trade over the version exclusives, but knowing him that will probably never happen...ever. XD I have interesting friends

I imagine the pokemon exclusives are the same yeah, there will probably be exclusive mega stones though like in X and Y.

Reviews are coming in for the game, and the Kotaku one had this little tidbit:

Unfortunately, because of embargo rules set by Nintendo as a condition for reviewing the game prior to release, I can't be specific about the incredibly exciting things that happen once you beat the game.

Incredibly exciting eh.

the IGN review is a bit... annoying. They give a pretty much glowing review saying how much they love every aspect of the game, with the only complaints being "too much water" and "too many HMs", and then they slapped the game with a rating of 7.8 because of those 2 things.
They even mentioned in the review that they have cut down on HM use by making Flash into a TM and invalidating the need for Fly with Mega Latias and Mega Latios. Plus surfing speed has increased dramatically from Platinum onwards. It's pretty ridiculous.

Also a review mentioned you can fly anywhere now, including routes and other locations, not just towns.
