A lot of tracks are taken directly from their game of origin (if not just reused from Melee/Brawl). Don't get me wrong- a lot of their selections are pretty good. It's just sort of offsetting to see that the music work for this game was kind of underwhelming.
I noticed this as soon as I heard the Mother 3 music in the soundtrack (which made me go from happy to sad because I was just saying how the game was snuffed out in this), so I'm not at all surprised. A lot of them are pretty much directly taken from the previous games.
Would have been nice to get freshly made remixes, but, eh, I'm glad they're at least being represented somehow.
