I know the original GCN controllers work for actual GCNs and Wiis, but do we know for sure if the new GCN controllers actually work the same? I haven't looked into it too much. You might be stuck buying an actual GCN controller for a tiny bit more if that's not the case.
My old GCN controllers are suffering much the same fate. They drop inputs, the directionals aren't as responsive, the other buttons are fine for the most part except for Z for some reason, but they're definitely due for replacement.
