Probably because it is a carbon copy of a trillion other anime high school stories. And ill-fitting with the game; it somehow make you feel like they assume that you are 14 and relate to that reality.
And it is awkward.
I admit I smiled a bit at Magnus and Hilla as rival teachers. Probably more because I am a teacher than for the actual humor.
