i wrote it on tumblr, but this is pretty much the biggest PVP match with a random team i've ever played. and we're winning it dammit, the other guys don't even play the darn games.
as for that anita tweet, i've gotten to the point where it's hard not to read everything she posts as male-hating, she just words it in such a way that her overzealous followers also read it that way. reading that tweet and judging solely the tweet and not who wrote it though, i have to agree. men are expected to be strong and "deal with it" in many ways, as many shows and such prove, like that "abuse on men by women" study/social experiment did. women are seen either as a weaker sex, or, in a much less sexist way, a sex worth defending more than the other, while men are expected to defend themselves and alone.
that is indeed a toxic idea of masculinity.
