That battle does look very crazy. Mainly because it is one of those really rare and awesome video game experiences. To me it seems kind of like playing through LoZ: Twilight Princess for the first time. I was having WAY too much with all the awesome, rarely seen things in that game. Like rafting through a dangerous ravine, flying a frickin' dragon-monster through said ravine and snowboarding down a snow valley on a piece of ice...after a giant yeti who is awesome. I had your same reaction to those events. Lol
I lean much more towards long, intense boss battles rather than the cheap thrill type bosses. RPGs typically have the best bosses, especially compared to most adventure games.
Dullahan - Golden Sun: The Lost Age is another boss I never got tired of fighting and still lost to sometimes. There's many different strategies to beat him. He's a lot of fun and can be very frustrating (which I love in a boss).
