Oh I see what the problem is, I'm not using the standard number of posts per page so "a few pages ago" was like, right over there. Anyway I skipped past that one because it sums up to what I said in my post above - all that's been accomplished is getting Intel to drop ads on gamasutra and also harrassing some women in gaming. ('reforming journalism' = blindly accepting 'they were rude to you, shun them' and trolling Intel's inbox to make them cancel an ad campaign?)
It treads over the same he-said, kotaku-said ground at the beginning, which I'm not sure why anyone thinks is credible given that one side's evidence consists of "but Zoe's boyfriend said she knows a journalist" and the other's is "but the journalist's publisher says none of the journalist's articles are about her games".
obtuse fruitslingers, wailing hyperconsumers, and childish internet-arguers:
it doesn't insult me cause I'm none of these things bro
Justin I guess Wrote:"We still think angry young men are the primary demographic for commercial video games" <- This was never the pineappleing demographic in anyone's mind. What's the primary demographic for CoD:BLOps2, Madden NFL, Halo 4, Assassin's Creed 3, Just Dance 4, NBA, Borderlands 2, CoD:MW3, Lego Batman 2, FIFA 12? Altogether it's not unreasonable to notice that 8 of the top 10 selling videogames last year are about violence and all-male sports
And in the style of the video, p.s.
where's the proof that all 70 grand is from pro-#gamergate sources
and what about Zoe Quinn making a pro-TFYC tweet that slashdotted (or in modern internet terms, ddos'd) their page makes donating to them a take-that to "the corruption in vidyas reporting" anyway
