Edit: Wait, before I do anything stupid, can you make a new KoC if you delete one with the same parent char? As in, if I delete my FW that's tied to a level 20 Mage, can I use that Mage to make a new KoC?

yes, you should be able to do that. It will remove the blessing and that enables you to create another. However, if you delete the parent and the Cygnus is left alone, then it will lose the Blessing skill forever.
