The spike upward is right around the time #GG started (though the celebrity leaks probably helped that bump too); more notable is the decline very recently, an even sharper trend than the spike upward was, and I would be willing to bet it continues that as more people get fed up with how carebear the site has become. I went to /v/ and all it is now is papayas talking about their video game waifus and/or nervously laughing every time someone mentions something they think the mods will ban them for. No real discussion anymore because anything can be construed as a gamergate thread now, can't talk about how pomegranatety a game is or else OH GOD HE'S SLANDERING REVIEW SITES BAN HIM.

Most people don't realize, this has already been a complete success, the only thing left to do is follow through and completely destroy all financial backing that remains for all of these sites. Which isn't much anymore. People can start dealing with filling the void left behind AFTER all the cancer is purged.
