So if you're not these things that people claim you are...why do you care? You sound like you're making an awfully big deal out of not being these things that you're so afraid of being.
Backing a kickstarter means you are entitled to whatever benefit the kickstarter has promised for you. If I spend $20 to back a game and that game promises me that I receive the game and a set of game-related pins, then I am entitled to the game and those game-related pins. In no way am I entitled to being able to press a button on a social media site to subscribe to information about that game. In no way am I entitled to facilitating how that game grows and what direction that game takes. If that game decides to "agenda push" then that game does so. Just because I spend some random amount of money to help propagate the growth of that game doesn't mean I have any say whatsoever in the development in said game. And I am particularly not qualified to say whether or not a woman should be involved in said game, especially simply because she supports feminism.
"These femnazis go I can break your career in a snap"
So what is the goal of gamergate, if not to "break careers in a snap"?
This thread is silly. This entire debacle is silly. It's childish and pointless. Not everything is some global conspiracy hellbent on making you look like a bad person. Not everything is some attack against your culture and being.
You are literally going on a tirade in the midst of a pomegranatestorm against some people because they think women are viewed negatively in some games. Do you honestly not see what's wrong with that?
