Lana is incredibly fun to play as. Her starting weapon, the magic book or whatever its called seems pretty unimpressive at first until you start upgrading her combos. My favourite combo as her is B, B, Y which throws out lightning bolts in a straight line. When you get the upgraded combo pressing Y again makes a barrier appear, and pressing Y again makes the barrier electrified and draws in enemies. Then you can use Y to dash into the barrier and cause a massive explosion killing everything. It's a very impressive combo.
Sheik has a very interesting playstyle which is a lot deeper than it looks at first. each combo gives Sheik a buff icon in the top left corner. Pressing Y on it's own will cast a different spell depending on the buff you have active.
B, Y is Water, which gives you a shield that lowers damage and lasts for a long time
B x2, Y is Fire, which creates a pentagram on the ground that explodes
B x3, Y is Thunder which is my favourite. It plays the song of storms and surrounds Sheik in electricity that damages and knocks back any enemy that comes close.
B x4, Y is Shadow which causes a pulse to appear which sucks in enemies and pushes them out again.
I'm not sure if she has any more combos after that, but yeah, Sheik is a very strong character.
Fi too is absolutely crazy. She has amazing mobbing potential. her only drawback is that her attacks get interrupted very, very easily. She's very strong, I beat Ghirahim and 3 very strong elite mobs at the same time with her attacks.
Impa is so much fun with the Giant's Knife, and very very strong.
I've unlocked the Naginata weapon for her but haven't used it yet. I also haven't played as Midna or Darunia yet despite unlocking them.
I am absolutely in love with this game so far. I haven't even scratched the surface of unlocking all the weapons and artwork and heart containers and badges and even unlocking characters.
(by the way, I say "press B" but it's either B or A depending on which control scheme you chose (Warriors or Zelda). Zelda is "B button to Attack" because that is what it is mapped to in most Zelda games)
