I'm planning an SSB 3DS tourney to accompany the release of the game. I was thinking of sign ups starting in Sept. 19th and the actual tournament starting in October 6th-10th or so and will last however long. The general idea is that since there's a public demo out at Sept. 19th, people could use that time to practice with the controls etc.
How many of you guys are interested in an event like that? Also, would you guys like double or single elimination bracket format? Just want to gauge interest. The dates and stuff isn't final, just an initial draft.
I'm definitely interested! I'd say a double elimination bracket so we get more games in and to avoid any cheap deaths booting someone out, especially since some people may not be entirely comfortable with the controls that soon after the release.
