It just needs to be made clear in the rules.
I believe the only reason the mafia kept talking after they died is because nobody told them they shouldn't.
If people want to cheat they can get around the forum group, too, by using PMs or Skype or whatever.

Also, keep in mind that Southperry moderators can see the contents of forum groups. In this case it didn't matter because Hypermug died Night 1, but if any future games include a SP mod, don't tempt them.

Yeah I just thought it was assumed since dead townies aren't supposed to talk either so it makes sense that should apply to the mafia as well. Well, that's a lesson learned. I also didn't know that about the forum groups. Do you know if regular members can see the members of an invite only group? That was why I didn't end up using a forum group anyway.

I pretty much ignored anything they said (it wasn't very much to begin with). But Luv said they did it very very heavily in Pokemafia.

Like I said though, nothing was said that could've compromised the game, and very little was actually said anyway.

I was actually pretty close to posting the roles in the dead group, but Kyrastri didn't want me because she wanted to guess who was mafia. If I had ended up posting them, it would have been pretty catastrophic.
