I don't see how you can choose a main before playing the game.

Megaman seems pretty crap though.

Easy, I can't speak for anyone else but if I see a character has made it in that I really like (Rosalina for example), I'm going to play them a lot whether they suck or not. I've mained Yoshi since the first game, so I don't have much of a reason to stop playing him now. Same with Peach and Falco.
