I meant in the full game, not the demo.
EDIT: Just searched thoroughly and found out the answer. Apparently you can only change the controls for everything else, but movement. Circle pad is set to movement and D-pad is set to taunts and aren't allowed to swap them.
Guess I won't be getting the game.
