Yeah, the whole "servants of the Red God" thing basically confirms a cult, which brings something to mind.
Why is it Yoshi that you thought and felt so strongly there was a cult in this game? Is it because you're not telling us something such as you are the opposition to said cult? Or it is as simple as you are the leader of the cult and when you tried to gossip to MasPan to recruit him and failed you knew something was up and had to take him out?
