Our server status checker is able to connect to some channels, at random (right now, for example, Windia channel 9 is green and with 0.04 latency, while everything else on the board is timing out at 0.25). This rather supports the view that their computers are up (so, they have power), but some kind of network issue is blocking most traffic from getting through.
However, as Eos said, there is nothing we can do but wait for them to fix it. We can speculate to pass the time, but it's ultimately pointless.
