I feel like these things are kind of important to fans, sorry if I stepped on some Smash fan toes there.
Characters are scaled up/down to fit gameplay. A lot of characters aren't their actual height.
Like, Lucario should be shorter, Falco, Fox, Link should all be taller. Olimar should be mini. Rob should be shin height. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
