I've started going through every character, testing every skill, and disabling all the terrible ones from autousage for AI/keying them appropriately on arte setting for manual, so far I've only finished Ludger though...though I guess he has the most, what with 3 weapons and dozens of mystic artes. Hammer seems to be the most powerful for everything but fights where you are gimped if you aren't at range, it has a lot of aoe with ailments and high stun with decent speed with the right skills activated. For a lot of fights I can just spam Hammer Flail and jugglestun them for long periods of time, Flame Tunnel does pretty good damage, Wave Smasher has amazing guardbreak, and Freezing Eruption seems to be aoe/tracking/seal/stun/midrange, one of the better Arcanes in my opinion.
One question actually, can AI use Flash Guard?
They can use Flash Guard, but I don't think they're very good at it. Hammer's crowdcontrol is good. Hungry Hunter, and knockdown in general, can carry a lot of tough battles.
Has anyone gotten Leia's Soulstoke Spin 200+ use bonus yet? Sexy.
