Diablo III: Reaper of Souls

So you need sockets on rings and amulets for legendary gems, huh?

pomegranate. This is going to make optimization all the more annoying. I'm sure we all know the dominance of Critical Hit Chance and Critical Hit Damage. Not to mention Elemental Damage on amulets. (And Ring of Jordan if you're lucky enough to get one.)

But considering that on one or my rings and my amulet, I had to reroll for CHD, and on my RoRG, the MANDITORY ring, I had to reroll for CHC..... (I found out the damn thing is guaranteed to come with Attack Speed) Are these things even going to be worth it? How much do they need to be leveled before they can really be worth more than CHC or CHD?.....

Eh, at least if I pick up my Wizard or Witch Doctor again, I got a nice Int Leoric's Signet with Int, Vit, CHC, and CHD I haven't rerolled anything on yet.

And then there's the Hellfire Amulets which we have to farm and hope for the right passive, element, CHC, CHD, AND a socket.....

Come on Blizzard. Surely you can figure out how to fix this mess.

I still have faith in you.....

Wasn't there an item added in that can add a socket that's independent of the current effects on the item?
