I don't know, they completely did away with the turn based system that they at least brought back for Sticker Star. It was pretty good, and I actually thought that the use of switching between the x and y axis to find secrets and the like pretty clever, but I just couldn't bring myself to finish it much less put it on the level of its predecessors. Super Paper Mario just felt so different without the turn based system, and because of that, when it returned I was so stoked. I actually finished Sticker Star but only because it was so ridiculously short and I honestly enjoyed the music and exploration on a handheld system. At the very least, the best thing Sticker Star did was trick me into feeling like I was playing a good Paper Mario game that belonged on a home console. I suppose I was being a bit to harsh in regards to Super Paper Mario, but I just really loved what 64 and TTYD did for the series, and wish they had stayed true. But alas, what's done is done. Let's hope they get it right next time.
