Agreed, to restrictive. I remember of all the stages I had made, the most simplest of designs was popular among my friends. The stage was just the largest box possible with one tiny opening that was offset to the left on the top with no hazards. Two lives, one goal, aim for the opening. Those matches would go on for at least 30 minutes ahaha good times!
Here's to hoping for an advanced version of the Stage Creator with more freedom if it does make a comeback.
