You people need to give up on the inconsistencies. They're going to happen and no amount of freaking over it is going to help.

If anything the devs will fall back on the fact that over hundreds of years there can be large differences between history and/or myth, and what really happened and what you or your character "knows" about MS1 is just a byproduct of what the common people think in that era not necessarily absolute truths.
