Subtle hint that CHC and CHD might get revamped / changed down the road? I mean he's not entirely wrong.

They underlined heavily that they never want to make a change that makes characters feel weaker when they logged in. They even brought this up with block. They don't want to change block to mitigate 50% of incoming damage immediately because it will make at least one character weaker, and they would rather solve it with a passive or legendary item instead (which is a terrible idea). The characters that are made weaker from this are basically sub-T1.

One of the plans they're considering is implementing a season where CHC or CHD doesn't roll and is replaced with a better Total Damage stat instead, but it might be too complicated.
