There's two reasons for this. As with my Watergun, Niernen has not really explained what my secondary ability does. I'm pretty much figuring it out by trial and error. There wouldn't be much point to me revealing what I *think* it does since I have gotten 2 very different results from the only two attempts I have used it thus far.
I'm also playing it close to the chest because the one part I fully understand about the ability would become useless if I reveal it. It may be strategic to do so at a later time, but for now it would only hurt the town.
I think I can safely reveal a few things if it assuages your doubts.
1. I cannot use Watergun and my secondary in a single night
2. It is not a Pokemon move
3. It's how I obtained my Pokeflute
Feel free to recheck everything I've done, but I think I've given the town more than enough reason to trust that I know what I'm doing (mostly).
